Answers to common questions about Revel Performance products, installation, suspension systems, and vehicle modifications.
To achieve a level stance on a 2025 Ram Rebel equipped with factory air ride, you will need either our basic or advanced lift package designed specifically for your vehicle.
Because the Rebel is already lifted from the factory, the front lift spacer must be paired with adjustable air suspension links. These links recalibrate the factory ride height sensors to compensate for the added lift.
The Rebel cannot be lifted on the front more than approximately 3/4" using only adjustable links. Beyond that point, the ride can become very firm or bumpy, which is why the front spacer is required.
Without properly adjusted links, the air suspension system may not maintain the desired ride height or operate as intended.
With the addition of the spacer, our adjustable links are required to compensate for the change in suspension height.
Adjustable links restore the correct sensor position, allowing the system to function reliably while maintaining the lifted stance.
If you are unsure which package is right for your truck, please contact Revel Performance with your vehicle year, model, trim level, and any planned wheel or tire upgrades.
Contact UsRevel Performance is an online ecommerce store serving customers throughout the United States, Canada, and internationally. Because of this, we are unable to provide specific shop recommendations for every local area.
However, our leveling kits are designed to be installed by a competent automotive mechanic or suspension shop. For an experienced technician, the installation is relatively straightforward and can typically be completed in a few hours.
We recommend choosing a shop that is comfortable working with suspension systems and vehicles equipped with factory air ride.
Before booking the installation, you may want to ask the shop:
If the shop reviews the product and has any questions before installation, they can contact Revel Performance for support.
Contact UsWhen configuring adjustable air links to raise the front of the truck while lowering the rear, all four links will require adjustment.
The link configuration depends on your truck generation.
2019-current Ram 1500 (DT)
The links with the shortest aluminum bodies and threaded rods are installed on the front suspension. The longer links are installed on the rear.
2013-2018 Ram 1500 (4th Generation DS)
The front lifting links and rear lowering links use the same aluminum bodies. The rear links are identified by their slightly shorter threaded rods.
To achieve both front lift and rear lowering, all four links will need to be shortened. We recommend making small adjustments of only 2–3 turns at a time.
Adjust the front and rear links together, then allow the suspension to settle before making additional changes. This can be done by allowing the truck to settle naturally or by driving it a short distance, such as up and down your driveway.
Repeat this process until the truck reaches your desired stance. Taking your time and making small adjustments will produce the most consistent results.
Our standard adjustable air link kits are configured for the most common applications. If you would like your kit configured for front lifting and rear lowering, please let us know when placing your order.
After completing your purchase, send us a separate email quoting your order number and advise that you would like your kit configured for front lifting and rear lowering. We will configure the links accordingly before your order ships.
There is no additional charge for this configuration, but we must receive your request before the order is processed and shipped.
Yes. If your truck is equipped with the factory Auto-Level Rear Air Suspension, the RP-5 adjustable rear links can be used to lower the programmed rear ride height by commanding the factory suspension system to maintain less air in the rear air bags.
The RP-5 links replace the factory ride height sensor links. By changing the length of the links, the position of the factory ride height sensor is altered. This causes the Auto-Level Air Suspension to add or remove air while continuing to operate as designed.
The factory system remains fully functional. The only change is the ride height that the system now considers to be level.
Yes. One of the most common uses for the RP-5 is to compensate for a front leveling kit installed on Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks.
After the front of the truck has been raised, the rear can appear higher than desired because the factory Auto-Level Rear Air Suspension continues to maintain its original programmed ride height.
By adjusting the RP-5 links, the rear Auto-Level Air Suspension can be recalibrated to lower the rear ride height. This restores a more balanced, level appearance while retaining full functionality of the factory automatic leveling system.
Yes. Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks equipped with the factory Auto-Level Rear Air Suspension use rear leaf springs with supplemental air bags. The RP-5 links are specifically designed for this factory suspension configuration.
Contact UsYes. One of the primary benefits of Revel Adjustable Air Links is the ability to fine tune the ride height at each corner of the truck.
If one side or corner of the truck sits lower than the other, the adjustable links can be used to correct the lean without changing the factory ride height settings for Entry/Exit, Normal, Aero, Off-Road 1, or Off-Road 2 modes.
Yes. Revel Adjustable Air Links allow each corner of the truck to be adjusted independently. This makes it possible to compensate for uneven ride height from side to side or front to rear.
It can. Minor adjustments are usually straightforward, while correcting a more significant lean may require several adjustment cycles. Patience is the key to achieving the best results.
We recommend making small adjustments, allowing the suspension to settle, then measuring the truck again before making further changes. Repeat this process until the desired stance is achieved.
No. The factory air suspension continues to function normally. The adjustable links simply change the position reported by the ride height sensors, allowing the truck to sit level while preserving all factory ride height modes and automatic operation.
